Mergers & Acquisitioms Richard R. Green Co-Director Mergers and Acquisitions is a licensed agent in Florida and Arizona. He was in the top 1% of all 126,000 world wide agents. He has spent the past 19 years in buying and selling businesses and commercial properties. The businesses he has sold range from $40,000 to multi million dollar deals. The businesses he has sold include; Service businesses, manufacturing and distribution, restaurants, retail and marinas.

He has owned his own small business, been President of several 8 million dollar plus size businesses and was a past Senior Vice President of Business Development and International Operations for Ryder Truck Rental. As the SVP for Ryder he lead a team that purchased over 50 companies in 5 years in the US and overseas ranging in sizes up to $50,000,000. He is the State President of the Florida Cooperating Business Brokers Association. He has been active in civic organizations and was past president of the South Florida Boy Scouts of America. His varied background and experience in over 100 completed transactions brings a unique understanding of the process of negotiating large deals for M&A business owners.

Jim O’Neil Co-Director, Mergers & Acquisitions, Eastern United States Division

Mergers & Acquisitioms Jim joined Coldwell Banker Commercial in 2001, with an extensive financial background. He has focused on the sale of many businesses and investment properties and has attained numerous “Circle of Distinction” awards. He now serves as a Co-Director of the Mergers & Acquisitions division in Naples, FL.

Before joining Coldwell Banker Commercial, Jim was the President and Principal of a software development and consulting firm, which specialized in financial applications on large computer systems. He has spent years helping multi-million dollar companies maximize the efficiency of their computer and accounting systems. It is this eye for detail and his understanding of “the big picture” for each of his clients that led Jim to the Mergers & Acquisitions division.

Garit Lawson Co-Director, Mergers & Acquisitions, Western United States Division

Mergers & Acquisitioms

Garit joined Coldwell Banker as Co-Director of the Mergers and Acquisitions Division at the end of 2002. Focused on lower mid-market transactions as a mergers and acquisitions advisor since 1995, he offers diversified buy and sell side investment banking engagements, including mergers, acquisitions, buyouts, recapitalizations, private placements, valuations, and fairness opinions.

Prior to joining Coldwell Banker, Garit was a partner at Interwest Acquisitions Advisors, a regional M&A advisory firm. He received his Masters degree from the University of Utah in Business Administration and Organizational Development, after which he worked as an analyst for Learning Designs, a company that provides new product introduction consulting services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and high tech companies.

Garit has founded and operated companies in the retail and business services industries. He understands business from the viewpoint of the owner and entrepreneur. His operational and transactional experience allows him to advise business owners how to maximize their own company's value. His expertise is focused on developing and implementing growth and exit strategies to maximize shareholder value, while taking into account the human "needs and wants" present in all business transactions.

Bob Strasters Co-Director, Mergers & Acquisitions, Western United States Division

Bob is one of the original founders of Coldwell Banker Commercial Mergers & Acquisitions. He currently serves as Co-Director of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group.

Over the past eleven years his practice has included all aspects of Investment Banking Services for the middle market, with a special emphasis on sell-side representation. He has been an active member of the leading industry associations and is accredited with several industry designations including the SBA (Senior Business Analyst) and the CBI (Certified Business Intermediary).  

Robert has started and operated seven companies during the past 25 years, and is still an active owner of three companies. His experience as an entrepreneur provides unique perspective to his practice and its focus on representing private business owners. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Utah in 1986.

Elizabeth Bellit Mergers & Acquisitions

Elizabeth came to Coldwell Banker Mergers & Acquisitions with 16 years of experience in the advertising industry. Her experience includes executive-level involvement on a variety of national advertising campaigns, including Nissan, Hewlett Packard, Iomega, Princess Cruises and more.

In 1999, Elizabeth moved to Salt Lake City to run the media department at DSW Partners, managing a team of 13 with annual budgets exceeding $100 million. She has extensive experience researching the demographics, psychographics and cultural trends that affect her clients' businesses, and has been nationally recognized for her skills in research and negotiation.   


She joined Coldwell Banker Mergers & Acquisitions as Director of Marketing in the spring of 2003 and is responsible for the group's business development and marketing efforts, including:

• Researching methods of marketing mid-market companies to

Phil Rice Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Brokerage

Phil is originally from Pittsburgh, PA., but has lived in SW Florida since 1972. During the past 37 years, he has gained extensive experience in selling businesses and commercial properties throughout Florida. During this period he has been involved in many Mergers & Acquisitions ranging in price from $7.8 million to $15 million.

Tim Eovino Business Brokerage

Mergers & Acquisitioms Tim Eovino is a licensed Florida RE Agent who graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a BS in Business/Accounting. He is a CPA, Certified Public Accountant, and worked for both regional and national accounting firms. He no longer practices public accounting. He has over 30 years of business management and ownership experience.

Tim started and ran a software company for 16 years. He is a Business Broker and Commercial Realtor with Coldwell Banker Commercial in Naples. Tim has been married to Molly for 36 years and has two grown children. His experience in all types of businesses gives him a complete understanding of business, tax and real estate issues facing the business buyer and seller.

Ronald Lukowiak Business Brokerage

Mergers & Acquisitioms Ron Lukowiak has over 40 years of experience in virtually all aspects of business operations, including presidency of both construction and consulting companies. As an associate with Coldwell Banker Commercial, he specializes in Business Brokerage, Land Acquisition and General Commercial Real Estate

Prior to joining the CBC, he had a successful career in commercial and residential construction most recently directing the financing, development, construction and sales of over $500,000,000 of mid-rise mixed use and multifamily communities for a large national homebuilder

His broad experience in commercial, industrial, institutional and residential construction includes office buildings, super markets, sports venues, manufacturing facilities and retail fit out. Ron has a BS in Engineering, an MBA in Marketing and is a Licensed Professional Engineer. George is originally from Richmond Hill, NY and has been in the real estate business for over 30 years. He managed one of the largest real estate companies in Bayside, NY for three years prior to owning his own real estate company for eleven years.

Since moving to Florida in 1994 he has been primarily doing onsite sales with developers.

Paul Cestaro Business Brokerage

Mergers & Acquisitioms Paul Cestaro is a licensed Florida agent with over 25 years experience in the real estate business. Originally a licensed real estate broker from New York, New York, he owned and operated one of the largest and successful real estate offices there

James E. Conway, P.E. Business Brokerage

Mr. Conway has a B.S. and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Management. He was employed as a senior executive in the chemical industry for 30 years and ran various small and large divisions of multinational chemical companies. He is a registered Professional Engineer and is working toward his CCIM designation.

In his former career he also managed the acquisition and divestment of several businesses for his companies. He specializes in the Sale and Purchase of Businesses and Commercial income properties in Collier and Lee Counties and consults on Profit and Operational Improvements with his clients.
